Just like Gwyneth, the Mamas are bilingual

Gwyneth Paltrow has given yet another interview in which she once again tells the world that she is better than all the rest of us. And this time she says it in fluent Spanish.

Gwynnie, the Mamas have a special message just for you:

Dios! Tu heres una estupida cabrona. Vas a callarte? *

* "God! You are a stupid bitch. Will you shut up?"

Thanks to Insultmonger.com for helping the Mamas get their bilingual shit together.

I agree, she needs tu shut up! Specially because she makes us native speakers cringe with her oh so 'fine' accent.

(PS: it's 'estupida' not 'stupida')

Happybell -- thanks for the Spanish help! I've fixed it.

Or to quote the king to that jerk who is ruining Venezuela Hugo:

"Por que no te callas?"

Jealous much? I dont see a problem with her interview. She simply states how she feels. Get over it.

Not jealousy, but annoyance at the frequent snideness toward her own country. She says, "Also, the way people live over there. They seem to enjoy life a little bit more. They aren't running around as much as in New York. They enjoy time with the family. They don't always have their Blackberries on."

First of all, that's not true. It's a huge generalization. Some New Yorkers have their blackberries on, as do some Madrilenos. Some don't. Some Americans enjoy time with their family, as do some Spaniards. Some don't. I feel pretty safe making this claim as I lived in Spain much longer than Gwyneth (four years). I have also lived in the US.

Second, it's possible to praise a place without putting down another. That's the rub. Why does she feel the need to put down her own country? She has done it in the past. I am not going to post links, but it's easy to google.

Here's the thing. When you are a celebrity and relying on the goodwill of people who buy your tickets, it's not a good idea to tick off the people who pay your salary. That's all. Not that she is not free to express her views. That is her prerogative. But actions have consequences. If she annoys enough people, they will stop going to her movies.

Look what happened to the Dixie Chicks. Not saying they shouldn't have been able to say what they said and I really respect them for not making a mealy-mouthed "apology" (at least they had the courage to stand behind their statement), but they paid for it. Literally.
