Kirstie Alley confirmed to People magazine that she has gained 83 pounds over the past year and a half. We are impressed. We're no strangers to weight gain but wow, we're in awe. Even we wonder, just how can someone gain so many pounds in such a short period of time?
Then we realized how Kirstie did it. Without realizing it, she accidentally sat on Victoria Beckham!
Not to worry, Kirstie. As soon as you peel Posh off of your bottom, you'll immediately lose maybe HALF of those 83 pounds!

OK, I'm fat myself, so I shouldn't judge ... but in order to gain 83 pounds in a year and a half, you'd have to gain a pound a week. Which is 500 calories a day. Which is two whole candy bars.

I read the story in People this morning. It's kind of sad. Kirstie is gorgeous at any weight. I wish she -- and People mag -- would just get over her obsession. She is NOT her weight.
Goodness gracious, friends! I would NEVER condemn Kirstie Alley or anyone else for gaining weight. But. I am amazed at the rapidness of her weight gain.
See, I challenge anybody to gain weight faster or easier than me. And no matter how hard I've tried, I could never come close to gaining 83 pounds in a mere year and a half.
I considered joking that maybe Kirstie had eaten fellow Scientolobot Tom Cruise but the double entendre kinda squicked even me out.
