OK Magazine is reporting that Madonna is so worried that her 12-year-old daughter will surpass her in the looks department that she sabotaged Lourdes's appearance by not letting her clean up her eyebrows.
Which is just silly.

Because even out-of-control eyebrows can't keep Lourdes from being gorgeous.
And anyway, Madonna's very hairy herself. She ought to know that true beauty can't be suppressed. Not even if it's wearing a couple of Groucho Marx eyebrows.

And everyone knows that if she starts to age, all she has to do is take another nip of the blood of an innocent virgin--

--well, a younger woman, anyway.
But really, Madge. Don't you realize you're acting like the next Mrs. Ritchie? You know--a stepmother?

Don't you think that should wait until you've married A-Rod?
I hope this isn't true, because it would be just so very wrong. But I'm guessing there's a kernel of truth in there. Sad.
Lourdes is a knockout - Madonna, for all her fitness and sexiness has never been a true beauty... you're dead on - it's so very Snow White.
It IS so wrong...but it's not surprising considering Madonna's struggle to maintain relevance. What an egomaniac.
C'mon honestly would you really let your twelve year old start messing with her eyebrows? She's just a kid. Maybe she should wax her legs and do a little botox to keep that youthful look throughout her teens
never been a madonna fan, but i think this is made up, either by the magazine or their 'sources'...once i could wrap my mind around the phrase 'Gucci benefit for Malawi' , you run into the phrase 'she won't let her daughter have a hairdresser, because she doesn't want Lourdes to look better...'
how about, she doesn't Lourdes to have one...'hello?, because Lourdes is 12!'
My almost 11 yo daughter is sporting some pretty bushy eyebrows herself. She couldn't care less. Which is good because she is very sensitive (freaks out about shots, won't get her ears pierced) and I don't think she could take getting them waxed.
Why does everyone think Lourdes is all upset about hers and that her mom is forbidding her from doing anything to them? Maybe Lourdes doesn't care. Although I'm sure if she ever reads comments on the internet from grown women making fun of her she will.
I think she is trying to pull off the Frida Kahlo look.
My daughter had bushy eyebrows like that, and I didn't take her to get them waxed till she was 17. Heck, she didn't really care about it till then.
That one little thing changed her face completely -- gone was the last vestige of baby face, and in it's place was a young woman. It brought a tear or two to my eyes. I could never have done it when she was 12.
