We get that Tom Cruise is rich. We don't think he's made a good movie in a squillion years, but yes, we know that he is minted. We know that Katie Holmes is even wealthy in her own right... pulling in the dollars from mediocre films and Dawson's Creek residual checks... what we don't get is why anyone, rich or mega-rich would spend $100,000 on a child's birthday.

Some mornings, TomKat makes Mamarazzi choke on their lattes.

They *do*, because they *can*. Birthdays for kids that young are NEVER about the kid no matter who you are or how much money you have or don't have. And for these *celebrities* it serves to keep their stupid faces in the media.

Barf. Just barf! Of all the places they could spend their money... Scientology and $100K for a 2 year old's birthday party... Really? Off. Their. Rockers.

To paraphrase my comment yesterday about Jordan, apparently, Tom and Katie have more Scientology than sense.

At their level of wealthy... isn't $100K like $100 bucks falling out of their pockets?

/Not saying it's appropriate, just saying, cuz I agree w/flutterby

EEEEUUUUWWW. Just looking at photos of all that LATEX has me squirming and gasping for breath. How socially incorrect of them. Don't they know about latex allergies???

Is Tom where heeled white running shoes?

I certainly hope they didn't spend any money on a bounce house. Suri and friends should just bounce on the couch for free just like Daddy.

If you want to buy real estate, you would have to get the loan. Furthermore, my mother usually uses a small business loan, which seems to be really reliable.
